Tuesday – Gentle Hatha Flow Yoga – The Astor Theatre – 7.15-8.15pm – suitable for beginners

Thursday – Pilates – Walmer – 6.00-6.55pm – suitable for all abilities

Saturday – Relax Yoga – Walmer – 10-11am – suitable for all abilities

Antenatal Yoga Class

Preg with ex kit

Help your body prepare for labour, reduce the aches and discomforts of pregnancy and have some time to focus on you at this special time.  These carefully planned antenatal yoga classes will guide you safely and effectively through postures to maintain your strength ready for giving birth as well as help reduce fatigue, improve circulation, aid digestion, promote good posture and learn how to relax deeply.

The sessions include breathing exercises to help you manage your labour and at the end of each session there’s a time for questions and to discuss relevant topics with the group.

Exercise mats, bolsters and blankets are all provided so all you need to bring along is a bottle of water and wear comfy clothes that allow you to move freely.   You will be asked to complete a short health screening questionnaire prior to booking into a class to ensure it is safe for you to participate and if you are at all concerned please speak with your midwife or GP before getting in touch.

Postnatal Yoga ClassCrunch with Baby

This class are suitable for ladies who have had their 6-week check (12 weeks for c-section Mums) and are ready to start exercising again.  It’s a safe introduction to getting your body back into regular exercise and includes exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor, abdominal muscles and help ensure you have good posture when looking after and carrying your baby.  It’s also an opportunity to have some time focusing on you and what you need since you’ll be spending a lot of your time looking after your little one from now on!  Babies up to crawling age are very welcome in the class.

Yoga postures and exercises are carefully selected to allow you to work-out safely with your baby along-side you: perhaps tucked up in their buggy or car seat or even just watching Mum while playing on a cosy blanket.
